Una Stubbs is an English actress.
Biography[]
Born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, she was a model for Rowntrees and later a dancer on television in Cool for Cats. She appeared in a number of Cliff Richards films as well the stage show Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp. She then became known for her appearances in television series such as Till Death Us Do Part, Fawlty Towers and Worzel Gummidge.
Stubbs also appeared on stage in Star Quality, Don Carlos and Pygmalion as well as appearing in the original production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. On television, she came back into prominence with roles in The Worst Witch and Sherlock.
Singing[]
Stubbs appeared in the original productions of Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp, On the Brighter Side, the Noël Coward revue Cowardy Custard and Days of Hope as well as playing Mme. Dindon in La Cage Aux Folles.
She also reprised her television role as Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge: The Musical.
