Trevor Eve is an English actor.

Biography[]

Born in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts where he was awarded the Bancroft Gold Medal. Eve began his career on stage in such shows as Filumena before going on to achieve recognition for his television role in Shoestring and his first major film part as Jonathan Harker in Dracula. He won an Olivier Award for his 1981 appearance in Children of a Lesser God and a second for Uncle Vanya in 1996.

Eve also found success on television, playing Edward Murdstone in an adaptation of David Copperfield, the award winning drama The Politician's Wife, and most notably appearing as Peter Boyd in the criminal investigation series Waking the Dead.

Eve made both of his singing appearances on stage, in The Beatles musical John, Paul, George, Ringo... and Bert as Paul McCartney and as C.K. Dexter Haven in the original cast of High Society.
