Tony Gardner is an English actor.
Biography[]
Born in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, Gardner qualified as a doctor and performed as part of the comic duo Struck Off and Die. He would later work as a writer for Now What? and Armstrong and Miller before his breakthrough role as Brian Johnson on My Parents Are Aliens.
Gardner also appeared in such television series as Fresh Meat, Last Tango in Halifax, The Thick of It and Death in Paradise. He worked with theatre director Sir Peter Hall in three plays, including a production of The Rivals.
