Tony Anselmo is an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Anselmo began working with animation from a young age and attended California Institute of the Arts, before working with Disney, where, as well as working as animator, he would gain fame as the voice of Donald Duck from 1987.

Anselmo played a handful other roles, making his debut as a thug in The Great Mouse Detective as well as providing additional voices in the series Phineas and Ferb.

Singing[]

In his role of Donald Duck, Anselmo would sing a number of times, twice singing "Hi Diddle-Dee-Dee (A Sailor's Life for Me)" in DuckTales, duetting on Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and on several occasions singing such Christmas songs as "Jingle Bells" and "The Best Christmas of All."
