Tom Jobe was an American dancer and actor.

Biography

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, he studied at the London Contemporary School and became a successful dancer and choreographer, starring in Solo Ride, Sphinx, Rainbow Bandit and choreographing the musical Metropolis amongst other projects. He also served as a gay rights campaigner, and prepared a small dance piece for the film Time Bandits.

Jobe passed away in 1992.

Singing

Principally a dancer, Jobe appeared in dancing musicals such as Starlight Express (originating the role of Bobo and later playing Electra), originating the role of The Arbiter in the original cast of Chess and playing Bustopher Jones and Asparagus in Cats.
