Teri Hatcher is an American actress.
Biography[]
Born in Palo Alto, California, Hatcher studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater and had small roles on the television series Love Boat, MacGyver and Star Trek: The Next Generation before her breakthrough role as Lois Lane in Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. This led to appearances in such films as Tomorrow Never Dies and Spy Kids.
Hatcher gained great success and awards for her long-running role as Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives. She also made appearances on Smallville and Jake and the Never Land Pirates and provided voices for Coraline and Planes.
Singing[]
Hatcher played the role of Sally Bowles in the 1999 touring production of Cabaret. She also sang "New York, New York" in Desperate Housewives and performed "Before He Cheats" on the second edition of Idol Gives Back.
Hatcher also sang on two albums; "Good Night" on the compilation album Unexpected Dreams - Songs from the Stars and provided vocals on the soundtrack for Coraline.
