Teri Garr is an American actress.

Biography[]

Born in Los Angeles, California, Garr made her film debut in 1963 and served as a background dancer before a larger role in The Conversation and a breakthrough part as the innocently sensual Inga in Young Frankenstein.

Garr would then go on to appear in such films as Close Encounters of the Third Kind and The Sting II as well receiving an Academy Award nomination for her role in Tootsie. She also made a number of appearances on television including the original Star Trek, M*A*S*H and The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour.

Singing[]

Garr briefly sang "Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life" in her role as Inga in Young Frankenstein, as well as singing "I Got You Babe" on an episode of Saturday Night Live.
