Sydney Chaplin was an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Los Angeles to Charlie Chaplin and Lita Grey, he turned to film and stage acting after serving in the United States Army and was a founding member of the Circle Players. He appeared in two of his fathers' films; Limelight and A Countess from Hong Kong as well as such films as Pillars of the Sky and If You Meet Sartana, Pray for Your Death.
Chaplin passed away in 2009.

Chaplin originated three roles on Broadway; Jeff Moss in Bells Are Ringing (earning him a Tony Award), Tom Bailey in Subways Are for Sleeping and Nick Arnstein in Funny Girl. He also sang several songs in the television broadcast of Wonderful Town.
