Suzanne Pleshette was an American actress.
Biography[]
Born in New York City, Pleshette graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, making stage appearances in Compulsion, The Cold Wind and the Warm and The Miracle Worker. She soon moved into film roles such as The Birds and If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium.
Pleshette gained some of her greatest recognition for playing the lead character's wife in The Bob Newhart Show. She also served as a voice actor in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (playing the evil Zira) and Spirited Away.
Pleshette passed in away in 2008.

Pleshette sang in a number of films, performing the solo "If You" in 40 Pounds of Trouble, "Heart of Oak" in Blackbeard's Ghost and most memorably the villainous "My Lullaby" in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.
