Suzanna Hamilton is an English actress.
Biography[]
Born in London, England, she began her career as a theatre actress before making her screen debut in Swallows and Amazons and studying at both the Anne Scher Theatre School and the Central School of Speech and Drama. She went on to make screen appearances in Tess of the d'Ubervilles, Brimstone and Treacle and most notably as the rebellious Julia in Nineteen Eighty-Four.
Hamilton also appeared in Out of Africa, and appeared in such television series as Wish Me Luck, Never Come Back and Jane Hall. She appeared on stage in the original production of The Real Thing and in the plays The Water's Edge and Ion.
