Stanley Tucci is an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in Peekskill, New York, he studied at SUNY Purchase, making his stage debut in 1982 and his film debut in Prizzi's Honor. He soon became well known for his work in films as varied as Big Night, Conspiracy and The Lovely Bones (for which he received an Academy Award nomination) as well as blockbusters including Captain America: The First Avenger and The Hunger Games series.

Tucci also made a number of television appearances in Murder One, Monk and Feud (as Jack L. Warner), received a Tony Award for his stage role in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de la Lune and directed Lend Me a Tenor on Broadway.

Tucci appeared in the live-action version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, where he sang in the role of Monsieur Cadenza.
