Stacy Keach is an American actor.

Biography[]

Born Walter Stacy Keach Jr. in Savannah, Georgia, he studied at both the Yale School of Drama and the London School of Music and Dramatic Art and appeared early on in such plays as Macbird!, We Bombed in New Haven and The Nude Paper Sermon and later in such plays as Art and award-winning roles in Macbeth and Richard III.

Keach made his television debut in 1964 and had roles in such well-known series as Jesus of Nazareth (playing Barabbas), as the title character in Mike Hammer, Private Eye and Henry Pope in Prison Break, later providing voices for Rugrats and The Simpsons. In film, he appeared in Escape from L.A., The Bourne Legacy and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Keach briefly sang on three occasions, performing "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" on Two and a Half Men, "In the Ghetto" in the film Nebraska and "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" in The Simpsons whilst playing former Power Plant employee Don Bookner.
