Sheila White is an English actress.
Biography[]
Born in London, England, White began acting at the age of twelve in pantomime and studied at Corona Stage School in London. She would appear as a child actress in a number of different projects before playing adult roles, most notably Messalina in I, Claudius.
She later appeared in a large number of films, including Confessions of a Window Cleaner and The Spaceman and King Arthur.
Singing[]
During her varied career on stage and screen, White has had a number of musical roles, beginning from a young age when she played Brigitta and Louisa Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. She gained her breakout role in On the Level, where a solo was written especially for her.
Soon after, White appeared as Bet in the film Oliver!, and a second Dickens musical the following year, namely Pickwick. She also appeared in the original West End production of Dames at Sea as Ruby.
