Sharon Small is a Scottish actress.

Biography[]

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she studied at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and made both her stage and screen debuts in 1994. For her film debut in the short film Bumping the Odds, she won the Award for Best Actress at the Edinburgh Film Festival.

As well as appearing in such plays as When Harry Met Sally and Lear, Small played her largest role as DS Barbara Havers in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries. She also had guest appearances in Rebus, Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife.

Singing[]

Small appeared in two stage musicals, playing Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera (and later playing Jenny Diver in 2016) and later Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.
