Sean Pertwee is an English actor.

Biography[]

Born in Hammersmith, London, to actor Jon Pertwee, he trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and made his screen debut in 1991. He often portrayed tough characters and had roles in Cleopatra (as Brutus), Dog Soldiers and the first two instalments in the Goal! trilogy. He frequently served as a narrator and voiceover artist on Masterchef: The Professionals and the computer game Killzone.

Pertwee also appeared in numerous television series, including The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, A Bear's Tail and perhaps notably as Alfred Pennyworth in the Batman origin series Gotham.

Pertwee comically performed the children's theme song "Fireball XL5" at the karaoke in Love, Honour and Obey.
