Sally Lindsay is an English actress.
Biography[]
Born in Stockport, England, Lindsay originally dabbled in stand-up comedy before appearing in the series Phoenix Nights and The Royle Family. She first gained major recognition for her award-winning performance as Shelley Unwin on Coronation Street.
Lindsay would also appear in a range of series from comedies including Scallywagga, Reggie Perrin and Still Open All Hours and the detective series Scott & Bailey, which she helped to pen. She also served as a panellist on Loose Women, appeared as Beatrice on Much Ado About Nothing Helen in A Taste of Honey and provided the voice of Paella Bakewell in Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death.
