Ronald Reagan was an American actor and politician.
Biography[]
Born in Tampica, Illinois, Reagan studied at Eureka College and became a sports announcer before his film debut in 1937's Love Is on the Air. He went on to appear in such films as Knute Rockne, All American, Kings Row and Brother Rat.
However, history would remember Reagan primarily for his political career; becoming elected as Governor of California from 1967 before serving two terms as President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. During this time, he notably campaigned to bring down the Berlin Wall, and was behind the policies referred to as "Reganomics."
Reagan passed away in 2004.
Singing[]
Reagan only sang twice in his acting career, briefly singing "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain" in Secret Service of the Air and duetted with "I've Got a Crush on You" and "You're the Top" in The Gisele MacKenzie Show.
