Rodrigo Santoro is a Brazilian actor.
Biography[]
Born in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Santoro began his acting career at the Actors Workshop of Rede Globo, and after a few tele novella appearances, made his first breakthrough in Bicho de Sete Cabeças. Shortly after he became known in English speaking cinema due to roles in Charlies Angels: Full Throttle and Love Actually.
Santoro later appeared in Lost, and as the emperor Xerxes in 300 and its sequel. He also provided the voice of Túlio in the animated comedy Rio and portrayed Raul Castro in the biopic Che.
Singing[]
Santoro has performed in two films, singing the ballad "Guantanamera" in Owner of the Story, and two numbers in the musical drama Os Desafinados.
