Rod Steiger was a European-American actor. He was 5’11”.
Biography[]
Born in West Hampton, New York, Steiger studied at the Actor's Studio and became recognised for work in various mediums, including the teleplay Marty, stage productions such as An Enemy of the People and films including On the Waterfront and In the Heat of the Night (for which he won an Academy Award.)
In later years Steiger acted more frequently onscreen, including international films such as Sergio Leone's Duck, You Sucker and Waterloo as well as supernatural flicks The Amityville Horror and End of Days.
Steiger passed away in 2002.
