Ralph Wright was an American actor and animator.

Biography[]

Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, Wright joined the Disney Studios in the 1940s working on a number of shorts, and notable worked as a writer on Bambi, Lady and the Tramp and Peter Pan.

Wright became well known for his voice also, becoming the original voice of Eeyore in the Winnie the Pooh series, and had a brief appearance as one Colonel Hathi's elephants in The Jungle Book. He passed away in 1983.

Singing[]

Wright sang in only one role, as Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, singing "Mind Over Matter" and in Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day singing "Hip-Hip Pooh-ray".
