Peg Murray is an American actress.
Biography[]
Born Margaret Murray in Denver, Colorado, she began as a straight stage performer, appearing in The Great Sebastians in 1956 and later Blood, Sweat and Stanley Poole and The Subject Was Roses. Murray also appeared in the films Some of My Best Friends Are and Bright Lights, Big City and had recurring roles in the series The Doctor and the Nurses, Me and Mrs. C. and All My Children.

Murray made her debut understudying the role of Tessie Tura (as well as playing several small roles) in the original cast of Gypsy. She also appeared in the original casts of She Loves Me, Anyone Can Whistle and Something More! as well as originating the role of Fraulein Kost (for which she won a Tony Award). She later took over as Fräulein Schneider in the same production.
