Pat Buttram was an American actor.

Biography

Born Maxwell Emmett Buttram in Addison, Alabama, he first appeared on the local radio, where he would perform in his own show on CBS. He served briefly as a sidekick to Roy Rogers, before teaming up with his long time collaborator Gene Autry, who he appeared alongside in several screen and radio productions.

Buttram voiced a number of characters in Disney films, including The Aristocats, Robin Hood and The Rescuers.

Buttram passed away in 1994.

Singing

Buttram sang several times in The Gene Autry Show with such numbers as and later sang "There Was a Man from Arkansas" in The Danny Thomas Show.
