Olivia Colman is an English actress.
Biography[]
Born Sarah Sinclair in Norwich, Norfolk, she studied drama at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and soon appeared in comedy television programmes including Black Books, Green Wing, Rev and numerous projects with the comedy team Mitchell and Webb. She gained a BAFTA and greater recognition for her role as DS Ellie Miller in Broadchurch.
Colman also had a number of wildly contrasting film roles, including the comedy Hot Fuzz, biopic The Iron Lady and an award-winning turn in The Favourite. She also acted in several comedy shows for BBC Radio.
