Nikki Blonsky is an American actress.
Biography[]
Born in Great Neck, New York, Blonsky appeared in a number of after school theatre productions, including playing the lead in Carmen, before she gained her career breakthrough by being cast as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. She summarily appeared in the television movie. Queen Sized.
Blonsky made a number of appearances in small profile films, as well as guest roles in television series' that included Ugly Betty, and regular roles in Valemont and Huge.
Singing[]
Blonsky's film debut, Hairspray, involved her singing a number of songs including several solo pieces. She also performed a cover of On a High in 2007 and A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes for Disney Mania, before her next film singing appearance, as Terese in Geography Club.
