Nicky Henson is an English actor.

Biography

Born in London, England, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and was a member of both the Young Vic and Royal Shakespeare Companies, playing such theatrical roles as Pozzo in Waiting for Godot, as well as appearing in An Ideal Husband and She Stoops to Conquer. He also directed productions of The Provok'd Wife and Intimate Exchanges.

Onscreen, Henson played supporting roles in television series including Fawlty Towers, Shine on Harvey Moon and EastEnders and appeared in the films Witchfinder General, The Bawdy Adventures of Tom Jones and Syriana.

Henson passed away in 2019.

Henson appeared as Mordred in the original London cast of Camelot, as well as originating roles in Passion Flower Hotel, Canterbury Tales (playing three roles), Mardi Gras and the concept album of Mutiny!, as Mr. Elphinstone. He received an Olivier Award nomination for his role as The Playwright in Enter the Guardsman.
