Nicholas Farrell is an English actor.

Biography

Born in Nicholas Frost in Brentwood, Essex, he studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and would make his first major screen appearance in Chariots of Fire. This would be followed by roles in Hamlet, In the Bleak Midwinter and The Iron Lady in which he played MP Airey Neave.

Farrell also appeared in several television dramas including Sharpe's Regiment, To Play the King and Collision, as well as voicing Hamlet in Shakespeare: The Animated Tales. Onstage, he played in such productions as The Cherry Orchard, Camille and The Crucible.

Singing

Farrell played the role of Lord Marshmoreton in the stage musical A Damsel in Distress at Chichester.
