Nancy Cartwright is an American actress.

Biography[]

Born in Dayton, Ohio, she initially appeared onscreen, for example in the television film Marian Rose White, she became a popular and prolific voice actor, taking roles in The Critic, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Kim Possible.

Cartwright gained great sucess due to her role as Bart Simpson in The Simpsons, who became something of a cultural icon. She also performed a one woman play My Life as a Ten Year Old Boy and wrote the film In Search of Fellini.

Singing[]

Cartwright sang in the films Goof Troop Christmas and Rugrats Go Wild, but most frequently as her characters in The Simpsons, including performing "Do the Bartman" and "Deep, Deep Trouble" as Bart Simpson on the album The Simpsons Sing the Blues.
