Marion Cotillard is a French actress.
Biography[]
Born in Paris, France, she had small theatre and television roles before appearing in films in the mid-1990s, beginning with The Story of the Boy Who Wanted to Be Kissed, the Taxi trilogy, and Big Fish before attaining an Academy Award for her role as Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose.
Cotillard appeared in films including Public Enemies, Inception and The Dark Knight Rises and dubbed over her performances for both the English and French versions for a number of films, as well as providing voices for Happy Feet (replacing Brittany Murphy for the French version) and Assassins' Creed. She appeared in Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher on a number of occasions on stage.
