Laurie Brett is a Scottish accent.
Biography[]
Born in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, she began her acting career with small roles in London's Burning and The Bill. After a number of stage appearences she was spotted and cast as Jane in a long running role in EastEnders. She also had a major role as Christine Mulgrew in Waterloo Road.
Singing[]
Brett was the winner on All Together Now, singing The Wind Beneath My Wings and Simply the Best. She also appeared in several musicals including The Rocky Horror Show and Smokey Joe's Cafe.
