Kenny Baker
Biography[]
Born in Birmingham, he performed in a variety of different show business roles before becoming an actor, including in the theatre and as an iceskater, as well as being part of the comic duo "The Minitones." Whilst he also appeared in Time Bandits, The Elephant Man and Labyrinth, his best known role was as R2-D2 in the Star Wars films.
Baker passed away in 2016.
