Ken Caswell is an English actor and director.


Born in Brynmawr, Wales, Caswell studied at the Rose Bruford Theatre before performing onstage, in a comedy and later as Wilfred in Spring and Port Wine. He mostly worked in repertory theatre as well as serving as understudy to Russ Abbott in Little Me.

Caswell became Resident Director at the Palace Theatre and directed such musicals as Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver! and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, as well as the 10th Anniversary concert of Les Misérables.


Caswell sang in the ensemble of a number of musicals including Dean, The Pirates of Penzance and Little Me, in which he played multiple roles. His greatest claim to fame was originating the roles of The Bishop of Digne and Lesgles in Les Misérables, later playing Thénardier in the same production.
