Kathy Burke is an English actress and comedian.

Born in Hampstead, London, she made her debut film appearance in Scrubbers and soon became known for her comedy appearances, frequently with French and Saunders and Harry Enfield, who she also write with, including on the film Kevin and Perry Go Large.
Burke also had several dramatic film appearances, playing Queen Mary I in Elizabeth and Connie in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.. She also cited her passion as being a theatre director, writing and directed her first play, Mr. Thomas in 1990.

Burke sang briefly in three of her film appearances, in Dancing at Lughnasa, This Yeart's Love and singing "Burning Love" in Love, Honour and Obey. She also contributed to two Comic Relief albums as part of the parody band Lananeeneenoonoo.
