June Foray was an American actress.
Biography[]
Born June Forer in Springfield, Massachusetts, she performed on radio for the first time aged 12, and despite live-action appearances in Sabaka and The Ray Milland Show, remained one of the most renown voice performers of her time. She appeared on the radio in such programmes as The Buster Brown Program, The Jimmy Durante Show and Command Performance.
Foray became best known for her work in animated films and television programmes, with some of her most famous being Rocky J. Squirrel and Granny in the Sylvester and Tweety cartoons, though she would also appear in The Flintstones, George of the Jungle, Mulan and many others.
Foray passed away in 2017.
