Josh Mostel is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in New York City to actor Zero Mostel, he began as a boy soprano at the Metropolitan Opera University before his Broadway debut in Unlikely Heroes and a leading role in the television series Delta House.
Mostel continued to play supporting roles in a number of major films, including City Slickers, Billy Madison and Big Daddy.
Singing[]
Mostel made his singing debut onscreen as the effeminate King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar and made a handful of stage appearances, including playing Matt of the Mint in The Threepenny Opera and as Sy Benson in the original cast of My Favorite Year.
