Joe Alaskey was an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in Troy, New York, Alaskey became a voice actor performing a number of roles for Warner Bros, including Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Yosemite Sam (making his debut in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), as well as playing both Tweety and his nemesis Sylvester and succeeding David Doyle as the voice of Grandpa Lou Pickles in The Rugrats.

Alaskey also appeared in a number of non Warner Brothers productions, providing the voice of Richard Nixon in Forrest Gump, and appearing as Spider-Man characters Dr. Curt Connors and Dr. Otto Octavius in video game roles.

Alaskey passed away in 2016.

Alaskey sang in a number of his appearances in animated series, singing "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Quake" and "Video Game Blues" in Tiny Toon Adventures and "The Lobster Mobster's Song" and "Da Beddie Bye Blues" in The Little Mermaid. he also sang "The Best Thing You Can Win Is a Friend" in the film Tweety's High-Flying Adventure.

Alaskey also performed on such albums as Bugs & Friends Sing The Beatles and Bah, Humduck!
