Jessie Wallace is an English actress.
Biography[]
Born Karen Wallace in Enfield, London, she trained as a makeup artist before landing her first acting job on The Bill in 1999, later gaining her best known, long-running role in EastEnders, playing the mmouthy, outrageous Kat Slater.
Aside from EastEnders, Wallace appeared in the television productions of The Birthday Party and A Class Apart and the series Wild at Heart, as well as receiving a BAFTA Award nominating for her role as Pat Phoenix in The Road to Coronation Street.

Wallace appeared in 2007 as Maureen in Rent, sang two songs on Brucie's Hall of Fame and also performed a duet on the album Soho Hobo.
