Jenny Galloway is an English actress.
Biography[]
Primarily a stage actress, Galloway was best known for her association with Les Misérables, but also made several straight stage roles, including Henry V as Mistress Quickly, and Anna Christie in 2011.
Galloway appeared in several films, predominantly British comedies, including Fierce Creatures, About a Boy and Johnny English.
Singing[]
Galloway is predominantly known for her musical theatre roles, playing Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables on a number of occassions including two anniversary concerts. In 1993 she won the Best Supporting Actress Olivier Award for The Boys from Syracuse.
She also appeared in the 1994 revival of Oliver!, and originated the roles of Rosie in Mamma Mia! (for which she won her second Olivier) and Mrs. Brill in Mary Poppins.
