Jennifer Ellison is an English actress and model.
Biography[]
Born in Liverpool, England, she studied first as a dancer at both the Elizabeth Hill School of Dancing and the Royal Academy of Dance before spending five years in the television soap Brookside in the role of Emily Shadwick. This would lead to her appearing in a number of glamour magazines and modelling for the lingerie line Ultimo.
As well as appearing in television series' New Street Law, The Brief and Hotel Babylon, Ellison also served as a guest on Loose Women and Hell's Kitchen as well as playing a role in the horror picture The Cottage. She also appeared in the farce Boeing Boeing on stage, the comedy Calendar Girls and was in a number of pantomimes.
Singing[]
Ellison began her singing career by releasing two separate singles, Baby I Don't Care and Bye Bye Boy, as well as singing several times (notably in the number "Angel of Music") as Meg Giry in The Phantom of the Opera.
In addition, Ellison appeared in a number of stage, beginning with Chicago (playing Roxie Hart) and including Beth in War of the Worlds, Paulette in Legally Blonde and Lina in Singin' in the Rain.
