Jeffrey Tambor is an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in San Francisco, he made his stage debut in a repertory production of Sly Foxes and appeared in the film ...And Justice For All. He moved into television, gaining four Emmy nominations for his role as Hank Kingsley in The Larry Sanders Show and later appeared in a dual role in Arrested Development. He appeared onstage in the 2005 revival of Glengarry Glen Ross.

Tambor appeared in a number of films, including the Hellboy series (as Tom Manning), How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Hangover trilogy. He also provided voices for The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Monsters vs. Aliens and Tangled.

Singing[]

Tambor sang briefly in The Larry Sanders Show and Teaching Mrs. Tingle before taking a larger singing role performing "I've Got a Dream" in Tangled. He also sang the duets "Signs" in Arrested Development and "Somebody I Used to Know" in Transparent. He also appeared as Mayor Shinn in The Music Man and played a short run on Broadway in La Cage Aux Folles.
