Ian Kelsey is an English actor.
Biography[]
Born in York, Kelsey trained at both the Joseph Rowntree Theatre and Guildford School of Acting, before appearing in his first long running role as Dave Glover in Emmerdale. From 1998 to 2002 he played the role of Dr. Patrick Spiller on Casualty.
In addition to his long-running roles, Kelsey also appeared in the television movies Angel of Death and Dustbin Baby, as well as appearing in the 2015 stage tour of The Shawshank Redemption.
Singing[]
As well as briefly singing "For Once in My Life" during a guest role on Men Behaving Badly, Kelsey appeared in several stage musicals, including Grease (as Danny Zuko), Chicago (as Billy Flynn) and Pippin (where he portrayed Charlemagne.)
