Howard St. John was an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he began as an onstage entertainer, making his Broadway debut in the comedy The Blonde Sinner, as well as originating the non-singing role of the Aide de Camp in Princess Charming.
Frequently cast as stern or authoritarian figures, St. John had an extensive film career too, appearing in such films as Three Coins in a Fountain, and Alfred Hitchcok's Strangers on a Train.
St. John passed away in 1974.

St. John had one musical role, that of General Bullmoose, a part he both originated in the original musical and reprised for the film adaptation.
