Harvey Korman was an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he served in the United States Navy before serving at the Goodman School of Drama, which led to him appearing in several amateur stage productions. He first began to be recognised after television appearances on The Donna Reed Show, The Danny Kaye Show and provided the voice of The Great Gazoo on The Flintstones.

On film, Korman became best known for his roles in comedies written by Mel Brooks, including Blazing Saddles and High Anxiety. He was also a regular on The Tim Conway Show, and made appearances in both of The Flintstones feature films.

Korman passed away in 2008.

Singing[]

Though he made a singing stage appearance as Noble in the musical Little Me, Korman mostly sang as himself on television variety shows such as The Danny Kaye Show and The Carol Burnett Show.

Korman also performed the duet "Royalty" in the film Huckleberry Finn and several numbers in Americathon and Alice in Wonderland respectively.
