Harry Langdon was an American actor and comedian.

Biography[]

Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, he began working in medicine shows and stock companies before becoming a silent comedian and star in the Keystone Studios. He appeared in such films as The Strong Man, Tramp, Tramp, Tramp and Long Pants.

Langdon had the majority of his successes in silent films, several of which he directed, though he also appeared in sound films including Zenobia with Oliver Hardy.

Langdon passed away in 1944.

Singing[]

Langdon sang in two of his later films, performing "Oui, Oui" in A Soldier's Plaything and "My Pal Bumper" and "Bumper Found a Grand" in Hallelujah, I'm a Bum.
