Geraldine Chaplin is an American-born English actress.
Biography[]
Born to actor/comedian Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill, she made her film debut aged eight in her father's film Limelight. She appeared in a number of successful films including Doctor Zhivago and the 1970s Three Musketeers films as well as a well received stage role in Little Foxes.
In 1992, Chaplin received a Golden Globe nomination for playing her grandmother Hannah in Chaplin. She also made a number of acclaimed appearances in Spanish-made films including In the City Without Limits, Talk to Her and The Orphanage.
Singing[]
Chaplin's sole film singing credit came with with the musical film A Christmas Carol, in which she played The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and her human counterpart. However, she also performed the song "Smile" from her father's film Modern Times at an unknown concert for television in 2009 with her daughter Oona.
