Fred Willard was an American actor and comedian.
Biography[]
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he became a touring comedian with professional partner Vic Grecco before making his film debut in 1967's Teenage Mother. He became well known as a television performer, appearing in such shows as D.C. Follies, Roseanne and Everybody Loves Raymond.
Willard made a number of appearances in films, initially working with Christopher Guest in This is Spinal Tap, For Your Consideration and Best in Show. He also had voice roles in Monster House (and its sequel), The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and as a stage actor in Little Murders and Elvis and Juliet.
Willard passed away in 2020.

As well as performing "One Night With You" on Saturday Night Live, he also performed the duet "Midnight at the Oasis" in Waiting for Guffman.
