Franc Luz is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Luz played a number if theatrical roles whilst studying acting and soon became recognised for playing Floyd in Fiorello! Theatre roles soon led to a film role in Voices and the recurring role of Dr. John Bennett in The Doctors, which earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination.
Luz frequently appeared in television series including One Life to Live, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Hometown as well as the films The Nest and Don Juan DeMarco.
Singing[]
Luz appeared in a number of stage musicals, beginning with the role of Wanenis in Whoopee and originating the part of Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors (for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination). He also appeared in productions of 1776 and City of Angels.
