Amanda Seyfried is an American actress.
Biography[]
Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Seyfried began as a model and appeared on the television series Big Love before receiving her breakout role in Mean Girls and received praise for her role as Lilly in Veronica Mars.
She made her first major film appearance in Mamma Mia! and made subsequent appearances in Jennifer's Body and erotic thriller Chloe, being named one of the Showest Female Stars of the Year. Later, she gained acclaim for her performance in Lovelace.

Seyfried's role in Mamma Mia! resulted in her gaining a great deal of recognition, and she released a video for the song "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" to tie in with the release. She released a "Love Song" for PostTheLove and provided both vocals and acoustic accompaniment for the song "Little John" in Dear John.
