Bob Bingham is an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in Seattle, Washington, Bingham made his professional debut in a local production of Hair, and later became well known for his association with Jesus Christ Superstar. He later retired from acting and worked as a factory manager.

Singing[]

Bingham did not make many singing appearances, but was notable in being the first actor to play Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as reprising the role for the film. He also played God in the world premiere of Arthur Miller's Up From Paradise.
