Howard Morris was an American actor and director.

Biography[]

Born in the Bronx, he entertained whilst serving in the Army in the Pacific during World War Two. He soon gained recognition on Your Show of Shows and would appear in a number of comic roles in films and television including The Andy Griffith Show, The Nutty Professor and Boys' Night Out.

Morris was also a prolific voice actor, voicing characters in the Academy Award winning Munro, The Archies and Garfield and Friends amongst others, as well as writing and directing several productions of his own.

Morris passed away in 2005.
