Eleanore Knapp is an American actress.
Biography[]
Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Knapp began her stage career with the San Francisco Opera, performing as a contralto. She would later appear on a number television variety and talk shows, including The Joe Franklin Show.
Singing[]
A professional opera contralto, Knapp also appeared in a touring production of The Most Happy Fella and originated the role of The Housekeeper in Man of La Mancha, a part she would later reprise.
Knapp also played such roles as Miss Jones in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Eulalie Shinn in The Music Man.
